Fur Muff Walking & Sleigh Travel Fashion Essential Accessory -Over 100 Years Old

Fur muffs were fashion accessories used in the early 20th century as outdoor hand warmers and status symbols for women. Their use faded by the 1920s.  To use, both hands slide into each end of the fur cylinder.  There is a cut in the hide, displayef in an image. A furrier may be able to put some stitches in it if you so choose. I pulled the hide back for your visual inspection.  This fur is lush & thick. Inside has normal antique wear.  The edges of interior lining were designed to hang out of opening in this style of muff. Most of the images have the designed lining flattened. You can display either way.  This was a premium travel accessory in it's time.
