Handmade enamel-on-copper brooch signed S. Jones 2008, featuring a whimsical black-and-white striped snake with a colorful apple-inspired head. Very Alice-In- Wonderland feel to it. This piece was purchased directly from an estate sale held by artist Susan Jones Hunt, who is living and was offering pieces from her own inventory for sale. It is a new, never-worn piece and appears to have remained in the artist's inventory since it was made. Approximately 2½ inches long. Features colorful hand-applied enamel over copper with a pin-back closure. A distinctive piece of wearable artisan/studio art with a whimsical folk-art feel. Condition: New old stock / never worn.
