Vintage Benrus Ladies Watch 17 Jewel 10K RGP Cuff Bracelet Repair

Vintage Benrus ladies mechanical wristwatch featuring a distinctive hinged cuff/bangle bracelet design.  • Benrus signed dial • Swiss 17-jewel mechanical movement • Movement marked Benrus Watch Co. Inc. and Seventeen 17 Jewels • Case back marked 10K R.G.P. Bezel / St. Steel Back • Serial/reference number 554762 • Vintage silver-tone cuff bracelet • Approximate wrist fit shown in photos  CONDITION / FUNCTION: Watch is currently NOT RUNNING and is being sold for repair, restoration, or collection.  The crown/stem winds and the hands move/set properly. The balance wheel moves freely when gently disturbed, but the watch does not continue running on its own. No further mechanical testing or servicing has been performed.  Vintage cosmetic wear throughout including scratches, patina, discoloration, and plating loss. There is noticeable finish loss/corrosion at the open ends of the cuff bracelet as shown clearly in the close-up photographs. Dial and crystal also show age-related wear.
