【Unused with Film】S.T. Dupont Lighter Line 1S Vintage

This is a vintage item in unused condition with most of the protective film still attached (some has been removed).

The design appears to be from the current Ligne 1S guilloché series, but this model has PARLIAMENT engraved below the flint wheel.

It's substantial and beautiful, but I'm letting it go as I don't foresee myself using it.

However, the areas where the protective film was partially removed (the lid near the flint wheel and the top of the flint wheel) appear to have discolored during storage.

It looks like palladium plating, and I suspect it might be possible to restore it using baking soda (or salt), aluminum, and hot water, similar to how silver is restored (this is just a guess, as I haven't tried it). The flint wheel area would be difficult, but you might be able to soak just the lid. For now, I'm listing it as is, thinking it's better to keep it in its completely unused state rather than removing all the film and attempting to clean it myself.

The case itself shows no significant damage, but please be aware that the outer cardboard box has tears.
