Vintage Hornby Dublo DA 455 D1 Through Train Station Diecast OO Scale Boxed

Hornby Dublo D1 Through Station (Product Code: DA 455), designed for OO gauge model railway layouts. It represents a classic piece of British model railway history manufactured by Meccano Ltd. in England.  Scale: OO Gauge (00 - 16.5 mm track width).  Architecture: The building design is heavily inspired by 1930s Art Deco and modernist railway architecture, which was popularized by the London Passenger Transport Board (LPTB) and the Southern Railway during that era.  Materials: Molded plastic construction featuring a tan/cream main body, contrasting green doors, and a distinct terracotta-orange awning roof.  Modular Design: The set includes a central station building attached to a platform section, along with a separate detachable ramp section to extend the platform edge.  Component Completeness Check  What is present: You have the original blue box, the main central station building with its integrated platform section, and one end ramp.  What is missing: A fully complete retail set typically includes two end ramps (one for each side of the station platform) so trains can run cleanly past a symmetrical structure. The images only show one ramp extension. It is also missing the small plastic station nameboard signs (Westbury) that originally clip onto the slots on the platform walls.
