Vintage Tonala Mexico Pottery Bird Cactus Double Handle Vase Signed 5” Folk Art

Charming vintage Tonalá-style pottery vase handcrafted and hand-painted in Mexico. This petite double-handled vase features a long-tailed bird, prickly pear cactus, desert foliage, and flying birds in earthy shades of brown, green, blue, and cream. The speckled clay body, hand-painted decoration, and slight variations reflect its handmade character. The underside is marked “Mexico” and includes an additional artist’s signature or initials. Measures approximately 5 inches tall. Pre-owned vintage condition with normal surface wear and handmade variations. A surface-level line is visible near one handle attachment but does not affect the handle’s stability or solidness. The small raised area along the upper rim is excess pottery material from the original production process—not a chip. Some discoloration is visible on the front shoulder. Please review all photographs closely, as they are part of the condition description. A distinctive piece for a Mexican folk-art, Tonalá pottery, Southwestern, rustic, bird, or cactus collection.
