This elegant set features five Japanese lacquerware plates, beautifully crafted to replicate traditional Japanese artistry. Each plate showcases a striking phoenix (Fenghuang) motif hand-painted at the center, symbolizing grace, virtue, and renewal. The rich lacquer finish adds depth and a refined sheen, making these plates perfect for serving appetizers, desserts, or small dishes with authentic Japanese elegance. The plates come in their original box, which includes several red plastic forks neatly stored in the center compartment. Although the outer box shows some signs of age and shelf wear, the plates themselves are brand new, never used, and in pristine condition. A lovely example of classic Japanese craftsmanship, ideal for collectors or those who appreciate fine tableware for both everyday use and special occasions.
